SPRAVATO™ is an FDA approved prescription medicine, used with oral antidepressants, for treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) with Suicidal Ideation in adults. Spravato must be administered at a REMS certified treatment center. Not only is Ketamine Health Centers REMS certified, but it was also the first clinic in Florida to administer. How much does it cost?

The medication is typically covered in full or will have a copayment based on your insurance coverage plan. There is a monitoring period of two or more hours with our medical staff which has a flat fee of $150 per visit. Throughout the duration of this period, you will be in a private room with constant supervision. We will always provide our patients with a detailed superbill inclusive with CPT and Diagnosis Codes for insurance reimbursement.

What are the side effects?

The side effects include: dissociation, dizziness, nausea, and sedation.

How soon can I start?

Start time from initial moment of inquiry is dependent on how fast we get all the required documentation from your medical history. Many times your existing psychiatrist will need to send us this information and that is out of our control. Once all the necessary paperwork is gathered and submitted, it can take several weeks for insurance to get back with the approval.

What insurance companies have approved these treatments?

Thus far, Humana, Care Plus, United Health Care, Medicare Health Insurance, Preferred Care Partners, and Molina Insurance.

What if my insurance does not approve Spravato?

We take on the responsibility of appealing the denial letter; however, this process could take an additional 1-2 weeks. We will always keep you informed every step of the way!
